This wine os produced in the world famous Douro Valley in Portugal. It comes from a single vineyard called Jugal Velho, facing southeast and with an average altitude of 380m. It is a 35 year - old vineyard, planted in the traditional old fashion with dozens of mixed grape varieties.
The vilification is 100% natural, without using any chemical additive, not even sulfites. It is a wine made only with grapes. The fermentation is done by wild yeasts and aged in stainless steel vats for 12 months and more 12 months in the bottle.
It was not subjected to any type of filtration in order to preserve the original elements of the wine.
It has a dark ruby color and its flavor has notes of dark berries, cacao, spices and jam. In the mouth it reveals a simplicity typical of natural wines, with a a long finish.
