TERRAIN VAGUE - Thomas Ollivier, the winemaker of Molotov Besides Molotov see all TERRAIN VAGUE wines.
"In 2016 I have decided to start making wine with a 80years old vineyard from my grad dad, located near Perpignan in the south of France. With the help of winemaker Sébastien Agelet from Domaine de Mena, we made one barrel of 100% carignan, producing an unusual light body wine, fruity with high drinkability.
I have worked with the London based illustrator Malika Favre around the concept of Terrain Vague, a French expression that describe un-used lands, meaning literally wavy land, as this vineyard was almost abandoned.
I wanted to create a bottle that blends tradition and modernism, with a distinctive design that disrupt the conventions and reflect the wine itself."
