Besides th Magnum bottle L'Emprise see all LUCAS ET ANDRÉ RIEFFEL wines.
In Mittelberghem, one of the most beautiful villages of Alsace, between Strasbourg and Colmar and near the Mont Saint Odile is the Domaine André Rieffel.
The cellars date from the 16th century and three generations of winemakers followed each other: Julien Rieffel, who began bottling and selling his wines in 1946, with Sylvaner, then very popular grape, then André son, who developed and expanded the farm and finally Lucas, who has been managing the vineyard since 1996.
The main objective of Lucas Rieffel is to produce characteristic wines that can be sorted according to the grape variety. The beautiful variety of the terroirs of the Domaine is a wonderful expression for this passionate winegrower. The 2012 vintage will be the first AB certified vintage (organic farming) after 3 years of transition.
Above all, at the estate we try to respect the natural balance of the vine according to its terroir and this through intelligent work throughout the year. The yields are deliberately limited and favor a good concentration of wines.
