Grape Percentage: 60% Pinot Noir, 30% Chardonnay, 10% Pinot blanc
Winemaking: Organic viniculture, Herbicide-free farming, Traditional hand picking, Use of natural yeast wine without added sulfites. 85% of the fruit comes from the 2017 vintage, 15% from a reserve perpétuel, a Solera from the 2010 to 2016 vintages. The 2017 wine was fermented spontaneously and has undergone malolactic fermentation. It was stored in wooden containers of various sizes (75%) and in the tank for 12 months. After the second fermentation, it was stored sur lattes until January 2020 and then disgorged.

Charles Dufour is now in the fifth generation. The Dufour house has excellent locations on the Côte de Bar. Charles has decided to vinify his own champagne under the name “Bulles de Comptoir”. The grapes for his cuvée come from a total of 6 vineyards around the municipality of Landreville in the Côte des Bar in the Aube department, about 120 km southwest of the Marne Valley.
Thanks to the mild climate and the soil, powerful delicate champagnes are the results of it. His mother Francoise Martinot was the mainspring to go in the direction of organic. Charles uses these grapes, which are produced with a lot of love and experience.
