"Ich wurde Winzer in dem fast vergessenen Weinbaugebiet Brézème (nördliche Rhône). Meine Ziele und Methoden wurden durch Lektüre, Besuche bei traditionellen Winzern und nachhaltigen Betrieben auf der ganzen Welt geboren. Meine Weinbereitung ist sehr altmodisch und minimalistisch und mein Hauptanliegen als Winzer ist der Boden".
Eric Texier ist in Brézème, nördlich des Rhonetals, ansässig. Eric arbeitete zunächst in der Kerntechnik, bevor er sich Anfang der 1990er Jahre ganz der Welt des Weins widmete. Er betreibt Weinbau und Önologie auf minimalistische Art und Weise und legt dabei besonderen Wert auf die Bewirtschaftung der Böden in seinen Weinbergen.
