Alexandre Bain ließ sich 2007 auf 5 Hektar in einem Ort namens Boisfleury nieder und unterzeichnete im selben Jahr seinen ersten Jahrgang. Seine Vorliebe für das Land verdankt er seinem bäuerlichen Großvater. Er verbindet diese Vorliebe mit seiner anderen Leidenschaft, dem Einsatz von Tieren bei der Bewirtschaftung seiner Weinberge. So pflügt er einen Teil seines Weinbergs mithilfe eines Pferdes. Als Anhänger des biodynamischen Anbaus verwendet er, wenn überhaupt, nur sehr wenig Sulfite. Seine Weine sind natürlich, golden und großzügig. Pouilly-Fumé entzog den Weinen von Alexandre Bain aufgrund ihrer Unkonventionalität 2014 die Appellation, doch die Beliebtheit seiner Weine explodiert ... Die Flaschen von Alexandre Bain sind in kurzer Zeit so beliebt geworden, dass es schwierig ist, sie zu bekommen.
